NEW* Limited: Whole Galette des Rois
Galette des Rois, also known as a three kings cake is a cake associated in many countries with Epiphany. In France, it’s traditionally done with a puff pastry crust with an almond cake filling and a fève. After the cake is cut, whoever gets the fève is king for the day.
Epiphany is celebrated on January 6 because it is believed in Christianity that the 3 kings reached baby Jesus 12 days after his birth.
Our Galette des Rois consists of our housemade puff pastry and a sweet vanilla frangipane.
This year, we’ve collaborated with a ceramist to make our croissant, galette des rois, and madeleine fèves. Whole galette includes one gold paper crown and fève.
Please note, this pastry has a ceramic bead inside. Please be careful when biting into it. Also, we cannot control what fève goes in each galette.
