Galette des Rois 8"
Galette des Rois 8"
Pick up time: January 6, 11am - 12:30pm
Galette des Rois, also known as a three kings cake is a cake associated in many countries with Epiphany. In France, it’s traditionally done with a puff pastry crust with an almond cake filling and a fève. After the cake is cut, whoever gets the fève is king for the day.
Epiphany is celebrated on January 6 because it is believed in Christianity that the 3 kings reached baby Jesus 12 days after his birth.
Our Galette des Rois consists of our housemade puff pastry and a sweet vanilla frangipane, and honeycrisp apple filling.
This year, we’ve collaborated with a ceramist to make our croissant, galette des rois, and madeleine fèves. Whole galette includes one gold paper crown and fève.
Please note, there will be no pastries on the counter for pick-up. Coffee & frozen items will be available. Also, we cannot control what fève goes in each galette.
